HELLO! hello handmade

Since yesterday, the First of June 2010, the website of hello handmade is online. I´m so happy to introduce you to my new project and curious about what the future might hold!

hello handmade is an independent website for handmade design and innovative, original ideas from Europe. A mix between Gallery + Market + Competition + News. HERE you can read more about the idea of the project.

The first online exhibition is already running After that, there will be four new artists/designer featured every week. Everyone, who creates handmade stuff, can apply to join the exhibition. I´m looking forward to your requests! For further information click HERE.

On Sunday, the 31st of October 2010 I organise a first market in Hamburg, where creatives can show and sell their handmade products. The time for registration is running from now on. There are approx. 50 market stands available - find more information HERE or write an email to sophie//at//hello-handmade.com if you have questions.

Some of you might know me from my own lable www.jodii.de. I will keep up sewing and printing, but my former weblog www.jodiijodii.blogspot.com will not be updated anymore, it should be kept as an archive for a while. News around the handmade scene will show up here on hello handmade from now on.

X, Sophie

Maap Studio

Maap Studio is a small workshop specializing in design and production of contemporary jewellery. In all the creations you can see an appreciation of material. What makes it so unique is parian porcelain clay. It is often considered as non precious material but Maap Studio is turning that into great quality wearable work of art. Every piece is enriched with a subtle palette of colour, inspired by nature.
