The label jodii was created in summer 2008 and offers you a wide rage of handmade goods in timeless and colourful designs. Besides hand-embroidered patterns on cushions you find great hand-printed textiles like shopping and laundry bags, aprons, towels, tablecloths, napkins, bed linen and cushions.
The materials have first-class quality. The linen, threads and paints are all made in Germany. I am always looking for some new and better products. In some cases I also use vintage materials, especially old linen, because today you can not find this great quality anymore.
Recycling is a great way to let materials keep their history, but put them in another relation. I offer paper envelopes made of old atlases, Origami butterflys made of newspapers and industrial lamp shades with a new look. Since January 2009 I also have a small but fine collection of designed porcelain online.
I know, right now it´s hard to believe that there will come warm and sunny days, sitting outside in the evenings, wearing tshirts...Do you remember this feeling? It´s definitely easier when you see this new house&home collection. www.toast.co.uk
Furoshiki are a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth that are used to transport clothes, gifts, or other goods. Furoshiki are the eco-friendly wrapping cloths and shopping bags and can help reduce waste and care for our environment. They are reuseable and multipurpose and come in a wide variety of sizes and designs. When I visited Japan in spring this year, I was fascinated by the use of Furoshiki. They allow you to wrap almost anything or you simply use them as decor. At jodii I want to offer you some very nice Furoshiki in different colourful designs. There is also an instruction manual (English / Deutsch) online. Enjoy!
